EVERY PIE STARTS WITH A CRUST
Pre-made pie crusts will do in a pinch, but if you want the best pie, you need the best crust. Try my Easy Pie Crust recipe for a great start to your Pumpkin Pie. It’s best to have a pie crust that is buttery and flaky than dry and crumbly.
PUMPKIN PIE FILLING INGREDIENTS
- 1 ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger
- ¾ heaping tsp cloves
- 4 eggs
- 2 8-oz cans of pumpkin
- 1 can evaporated milk
HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT PUMPKIN PIE
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Mix all pie filling ingredients together in a medium sized bowl
- Add filling to baked pie crust
- Bake pie for 50 minutes, or until inserted toothpick comes out clean
Makes 2 small pies or 1 large pie

STORING LEFTOVERS
